We understand that every family has different childcare needs. We offer full-day, part-time, private and funded childcare options, subject to eligibility and availability.

Our nursery is open Monday to Friday, from 7:30am to 6:00pm, helping parents and carers balance childcare with work, education and family commitments.

Early Days Day Nursery is a 90-place private day nursery and pre-school with dedicated spaces for babies, toddlers and pre-school children.
 

Baby Room

Our baby room provides a calm, comfortable and nurturing environment where babies can form secure relationships with their key persons.

We work closely with parents and carers to understand each baby’s feeding, sleeping and care routines. Babies are supported to explore safely through sensory play, movement, music, stories and warm, responsive interactions.

Toddler Room

Our spacious toddler room gives children opportunities to become more confident, active and independent.

Toddlers can explore creative activities, imaginative play, physical movement, language-rich experiences and early problem-solving. Practitioners support children as they develop their communication, friendships and understanding of everyday routines.

Pre-School Room

Our pre-school room provides purposeful play and early learning experiences that help children prepare for their next stage.

Children are encouraged to ask questions, make choices, express their ideas and develop independence. Activities support early literacy, mathematics, communication, physical development and positive relationships.

Well-Being Room

Our dedicated well-being room provides a quieter and more comfortable space when children need time away from a busy nursery environment.

The room can be used to support relaxation, emotional well-being, small-group experiences and individual needs.
 

Outdoor Learning Area

Our spacious outdoor play area gives children opportunities to be active, investigate nature, take appropriate risks and enjoy learning in the fresh air.

Outdoor experiences support physical development, communication, confidence, imagination and an understanding of the world.
 

Learning Through Play

Children learn best when they feel safe, interested and involved. Our early years curriculum combines carefully planned experiences with opportunities for children to follow their own interests.

Healthy Meals and a Clean Nursery Environment

Fresh, healthy meals are prepared on site each day by our experienced nursery chef.

We work with parents and carers to understand children’s dietary requirements, allergies, cultural preferences and individual needs. Information about meals and snacks is available from the nursery team.

Our staff follow daily cleaning and hygiene procedures, supported by professional cleaning arrangements, to help maintain a clean and comfortable environment for children.

Working in Partnership with Parents and Carers

Parents and carers know their children best. Positive communication between home and nursery helps children feel secure and supports their learning and development.

Your child’s key person will take time to understand their routines, interests and individual needs. We will work in partnership with you from the first settling-in session and throughout your child’s time at Early Days.

We keep families informed about children’s experiences and progress and encourage parents and carers to share information, ask questions and take part in nursery life.
 

Private and Funded Childcare Places

Early Days Day Nursery offers private childcare sessions and government-funded childcare places for eligible families.

Depending on your child’s age and your family’s circumstances, you may be eligible for:

Our team can explain the childcare arrangements available at the nursery and support you with the nursery registration process.

Parents and carers remain responsible for checking their eligibility and completing any required government, college, university or benefits applications.

Funded places and attendance patterns are subject to eligibility, nursery availability, staffing arrangements, room capacity and the nursery’s admissions and funding policies.
